This home situated at Hope Island was perhaps one of the largest and complicated renovations our team has undertaken. Originally a project home built in the mid-1990s during the Gold Coast home boom, the home was severely damaged due to water rot, the whole front side of the house had subsided by 8mm, and nearly every plumbing and electrical connection were not working.

 

The client worked with Cunningham Designs to create her dream home, and our team turned it into a reality. Rather than demolishing the entire house, our team salvaged much of the existing frame and reinforced what had rotted.

 

The result is a multi-textured luxury home overlooking Links Hope Island Golf Course. The home is a carefully considered use of space with a home gym, media room, walk-in laundry and pantry, powder room and guest bedrooms on the lower floor. The upper floor features a secret office, laundry shute, multiple bedrooms with inland mountain views, bathrooms, and a luxurious master suite with walk-in wardrobe, spa, and private balcony also looking out to the golf course. Making great use of external space, a sleek and modern lap pool fits perfectly at the side of the house that receives beautiful morning sun.
