This renovation and extension included moving the existing home to the rear of the block, before installing 101 piers that were 18 to 21 metres deep and then sliding the house back into its new location. Once it was in position it was raised to its new height and work began on the new additions. A big feature of this home is the large opening doors and windows at the rear of the property that allow the kitchen to flow out and create an outdoor BBQ area on the large rear deck. The deck area has a large two storey void which the top half has been enclosed with custom timber screening. The additions look seamless to the original building. We have created a beautiful home that the owners are extremely pleased with.  This home was a finalist in the Master Builders awards.
